Mission

To provide a haven for those who seek mature players with excellent attitude and ability. Our focus is on building a strong community with a great deal of quality control for all potential recruits. Being selective as we are our guild focus will primarily center on excellence in teamwork & successful raiding. Our priority is always quality over quantity, and we will maintain as lean a member base as possible while still ensuring raids run regularly and successfully.

We are not PvP focused, but will foster an environment that supports our members forming their own arena teams and participating in PvP objectives. The guild’s PvE goals will always come before PvP.

Rather than make playing WoW feel like a job, we will schedule a maximum of 3 Heroic PvE raids a week. This prevents burnout and also helps members feel free to do other things they enjoy such as playing an alt, PvPing, running the smaller dungeons, and participating in unique guild events.

Our Officers

The Officers of Sanctus Imperium will act with responsibility and caution when approaching guild impacting issues. Officers will be responsible for bringing new recruits into the guild and providing them with necessary information such as guild web site address, guild rules and guidelines, as well as having the potential recruit read the guild charter. Officers will also be delegated tasks by the Guild Leader as needed. Members will be treated fairly and with respect at all times by our Officers. In order to keep a unified vision, strong leadership ability, and respond quickly as a guild we will be very selective of our Officers and keep the total Officer count to a minimal amount.

Code of Conduct

  • Members represent our guild at all times and we ask that you remain mature and respectful of fellow guild mates as well as other players outside of the guild.
  • Language over guild chat or during official scheduled raids is PG-13. Occasional profanity use will not find you in violation of our etiquette, but constant and unpleasant use will.
  • In regards to PVP members are asked to not AFK bot in the Battlegrounds or otherwise purposefully impede the Alliance progress for their own personal gain.
  • We highly encourage members to actively take a role in the guild and participate in guild discussion and events. With that said, the majority of guild events are optional and we respect the fact that at times some members may not be able to attend due to out of game commitments.
  • At no point will hacks, exploits, or otherwise cheats be allowed - any member caught using these will be evaluated by the Officers and appropriate action taken.
  • During guild runs, raids, and events please feel free to have fun and joke around. There are times when this needs to be kept to a minimum, such as during strategy discussion or particularly challenging battles. Use your best judgement and remember the goal is for everyone to have a good time while being successful.

Recruitment

Potential recruits can be invited into the guild in several ways:

  • As a referral from a guild officer.
  • As an applicant who has applied on our web site or through in game discussion with a guild officer.
  • Grouping with guild members and being referred to an officer to discuss your desire to join the guild.

Note that all recruits being invited to the guild, including referrals from officers, begin in the guild as an Initiate. During your trial phase you will have every right that a member does but will still be considered to be in the initial stages of your membership. Once you have spent time with the guild and shown good character, ability to play well, and a desire to help the guild you will be raised to Member rank.
