It has been 365 days since Sanctus Imperium was formed. We started with the vision of a guild with strong bonds that go beyond just the game. Real relationships based on maturity and respect. The fact that we have achieved this 1 year milestone is a testament to our success.
Never once have we reformed, merged, or done any of the sort. We have stayed true to our guild vision and ideals while maintaining unity in the guild. Ups and downs have come, and we faced them head on. Most guilds don’t even get close to the 1 year mark. In an online game where the average subscriber does not exceed 6 months of play we’ve shown what the strength of our community can bring. Many of our members have been here since day one or close to it. I’d also like to welcome our newer members who are just beginning to experience what a strong community can bring to the game.
I know we’ve all gotten closer this year, and I look forward to our next anniversary sure to come! I assure you that SI is here to stay. We have already demonstrated our staying power and no matter where our journeys take us, this community will go there together. We will adapt as online gaming changes, staying true to our roots in World of Warcraft and if in time the need is there moving to other online games. That is the community we have - the roots we have built that are maintained by the loyalty of our members.
To celebrate this occassion we will be holding various events throughout the week. Stay tuned to the forums for details & times. PvP FFAs with awards, raffles, and more will be taking place all week!
