zero on the clock, zero health

After weeks of learning together we have defeated Yogg-Saron. Tonight’s victory is not limited only to those 25 persons in the raid for the actual kill. To those who couldn’t be there tonight, you are just as much a part of this victory for the learning and time you put in through the past few weeks. To those who were there, you pulled together every lesson we learned and then executed them flawlessly - the first kill felt like we had been farming him for weeks it was so smooth.

Oh, and Blizzard decided to make things interesting for us and we lost 5 raiders to disconnect when Yogg was at oh 8% or so. Since they weren’t able to get in the screenshot, we’ll give them some front page loving: Gigity, Grungle, Shylee, Precarious, Tarizle

P.S. There’s some TOC progress to post up, but I’ve had a hard time getting the motivation to do so. None of those kills felt remotely as satisfying as Yogg, and he will adorn our front page for some time.

So I was all “Can I get a dinnervate?” and he was all “No you can’t.” but we killed him anyways. GJ by our guildies staying late tonight to ensure we nailed the kill on General Vezax.

On our never ending quest to kill more engineer-able bosses so that Nos can taunt me even more we decided to turn Mimiron into spare parts tonight. Well done SI, now excuse me while I cry a little in the corner for my lost engi prof. QQ

After a heart wrenching 3% wipe last night, we came back today with a thirst for vengeance and absolutely rocked Thorim’s face with a 1 shot.

It pays to have friends in high places, even if they are giant scary looking druid women who can destroy you with the fury of nature. We released Freya from the grip of Yogg-Saron tonight, adding another new boss kill to our tally. Well done SI!
